Remember to bring your frisbee or ball to throw. Bring a mesh laundry bag with you to store your beach toys. This will assist you in washing them off and reducing the amount of sand.
Packing for safety

Crackers, granola, nuts, chips, and dried fruit are all simple options. Keep your children hydrated while traveling, even using bottled water.
Beach tents are popular for families with small children vacationing at the beach. It has many applications, from preventing sunburn to providing privacy for breastfeeding mothers. Ideal for providing a shaded and comfortable area for your toddler.
Bring more than you believe you will require. Instead of lying on the sand, I use a small towel to dry myself. A quick-dry towel is ideal.
Packing plenty of water and snacks is essential when families intend to stay at the beach the entire day; bring enough bottled water for your kids to stay hydrated. I like to pack individual snacks and lunches. Grapes are great because they can be frozen and served on ice. Avoid sugary drinks in hot weather because they dehydrate your body. Water (and possibly Gatorade) is your best bet. Freeze the water bottle and place it in the cooler to keep the rest of the food cold, then drink it until it melts. Remember to bring a large blanket for everyone to sleep on. We have yet to look into pop-up tents, but we prefer them for extra sun protection if you’re at the beach during peak sun hours or have young children who need a break from the sun and munch on delish foodies that were prepared before coming to the beach.
